Appears absurdly large and unfortunately still has the Tundra's dash. No thank you.

I second this.

I concur as well.

Perhaps the best comment to the bashing in this site is to look at Edmunds.com.
The new sequoia sets the standards once again. It is the most refined full size SUV ever made!
Guys you can bash Toyota as much as you want but as long as Toyota makes solid well engineered vehicles such as the Camry, Highlander, Tundra and the new Sequoia they will continue to be the best manufacturer on the planet.
I am looking forward to buying the new Sequoia. I have enjoyed the 160K that I put into my 2001 sequoia and still love it every day.

jon- looked at edmunds- saw nothing. looked at C&D- saw a 3 page write-up. some things they say aren't too flattering. Glad you like your current one though.

Guenther - Just looked at Insideline.com (part of edmunds) and saw the glowing video and review. Thanks!

Guenther, I read the C&D article and mostly they just don't like how big the vehicle is, but I didn't notice anything unflattering about it otherwise. It's just a crazy huge, crazy heavy SUV that they felt was bigger than what you'd normally need. I agree with that assessment, but it's not really unflattering since that criticism really applies to any humongo SUV.

God only knows why they're hell-bent on putting that ugly nose on every truck they make.

I wonder if it will have the same camshaft and transmission problems as the Tundra?
