It's a nice car, but I'd rather buy one bone stock than pay 31k + dealer markup, which you know will be high. 7000 cars isn't that limited either.

But as with most cases, it doesn't really matter what I think. It's a Shelby GT with a different name and paint scheme, which in itself is a car that they basically just threw some parts on from their catalog. It's an excuse for the dealers to charge $40,000+ for a car you could build yourself for less.

If it had a six speed and a ~400hp N/A 5.4L I could see it being worth it, but as it sits I just think it's a waste. All they're doing is building an S197 Mustang GT the way it should have been should have been from the factory.

The sad part is, I'm a mustang owner (2003 SVT Cobra 'vert) and fan. If I'm getting tired of these "mostly show" mustangs, I can't imagine how sick of them everyone else must be.
