Wheels are like shoes for your car (deep, huh?), as they come in a wide variety of colors and styles, plus they are easy to change dependent on your tastes and budget. Unfortunately not every wheel company seems to produce original designs and even if they do it doesn't mean they're pretty. That is where Five Axis fits in. Riding on the success of their Scion concept vehicles, the design house known for its coachbuilt concepts has just unveiled its new line of wheels dubbed Five:AD at the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The light weight aluminum alloy wheels were displayed on the Five Axis Toyota Yaris Club, Lexus IS-F and Scion xB concept vehicles. The complete wheel lineup consists of five designs available in multiple finishes that are all as unique as this company's corporate-sponsored fantasy cars. The sizes range from 17- to 20-inches and feature bolt patterns available for almost any application. See the complete press release after the jump.

"I'm flattered that people like our work and excited to have this opportunity to get our design philosophy out there in the mass market," said Troy Sumitomo, president of Five Axis Models and Five Axis Design. "The FIVE: AD wheel line up made perfect sense as far as being a great canvas for my team's creativity," he continued. We've set out to offer a line up that will truly enhance a car's overall appearance."

"It is an honor to work with Five Axis Design," stated Mark Thornburg, president of Wheel Supply Systems Inc. "I have long been a fan of their work. pretty nice wheels, the split-5s look really nice, though if I were a real baller I would have to drop the cash on some Work or Rays wheels.

I say this should have been the real IS-F. If Toyota wanted boy racer styling they shouldnt have half-assed it, I can respect this concept because its not apologetic about its aggressiveness. Thats want what the Japanese cars are known for right? Why not embrace that? You cant out German a German automaker.

Did you guys see that review on Edmunds, those so called exhaust tips arent even connected. LOL :)

Oh, and the exhaust set up is like 100x better than the stock set up...
