SEMA 2007: Corvette C6R replica

This streetable Corvette parked outside of the convention center at SEMA had us doing a double take. It looks so much like the real thing that we half expected to see Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta signing autographs next to the car. The Corvette C6R replica is spot on with a carbon fiber front spoiler, rear wing, all the right stickers and even the factory drivers' names of the #4 car above the door. It's probably one of the biggest cop magnets ever, but driving this thing around on the street would be worth a ticket or two.

I saw a car that looked very much like that at the Corvette Club Paddock at the Lime Rock ALMS race.

pretty close but no dice.. it is missing the wide body kit and the air slits in the front side panels and also teh rase stayle gas cap. other than that its pretty close. Wonder whats done to the motor?

Matt, there is no gas cap on the C6R, its more of a plug right above the rear vents. They haven't used those gaudy caps since the old C5's. The fender vents are nearly impossible to do with the Z06 carbon fiber fenders, but if you'll fab them for us, we'll put them on the car.

Wasn't dogging your car or anything I mean it is a modded c6 z06 from what I can tell which is no joke...

you can see the race style gas cap/filler I am talking obviously you would have to fabricate that along with other subtle differences like the back air dam thing below the bumper and the side exhaust as mentioned above.
