First rendering of the possible MV Agusta Brutale 675

Just a little while ago we learned that MV Agusta was working on a 675cc triple engine to compete in the middleweight sportbike class following the successful formula that Triumph has discovered with its Daytona. What might a Brutale with the possible three-bore engine look like? The photo above is a CG rendering of a possible new model from MV Agusta, which would likely be known as the B3 675 Brutale. This naked bike would compete with the Triumph Street Triple 675, which is the naked version of their Daytona 675. If this rumor turns into something more concrete, expect to see proof at the rapidly approaching EICMA show in Milan.

The FIM is allowing Triumph to race their 675 in World Supersport competition next season, time for some diversity in the class. MV (and supposedly Benelli as well) stepping up makes perfect sense now that the 675-triple is a proven powerplant, the F41000 is a bit too exclusive. An MV middle weight priced a bit closer to $10k ($12-15k?) would sell w/o a doubt. Hopefully (doubtfully) they'll alow Ducati to run the 848 as well. I'd expect a fully-faired version before a naked set-up though.

That's just a MV Agusta Brutale 910 Photochopped (horribly I might add) with some different wheels and pipes on it.

Wouldn't this supposed MV Augusta be more of a response to the Triumph Speed Triple than the Daytona? It looks like a naked, street-fighter to me ...
