VIDEO: Ferrari F430 Scuderia: HOT

When Ferrari decides to make a special edition of an already exclusive vehicle, the results are typically quite stunning. It should come to no one's surprise that the F430 Scuderia is not the exception to the rule. 510 horsepower and 5.6 lbs for every HP will provide plenty of thrills at the track or on the open road, as will the 60 millisecond shift time. The scribes over at Avto Magazin has a beautiful motion picture starring the F430 Scuderia that we had to share. The F430 Scuderia doesn't disappoint either, as it sounds as beautiful as it looks, and looks right at home on the track. Click the Read link below to view the video. It may play a bit choppy the first time through as it's somewhat high-def, but just hit pause and let the buffer build up for skip-free playback.
Thanks for the tip, Mita!

I would rather go for a DBS, but one past me the other day (regular F430) and it has a sound that you can never forget.

You, sir, are certifiably insane if you would actually pick a DBS over any Ferrari. I don't think I would take EVERY aston martin over the F430 Scuderia.

Beautiful. I think this might be my favourite Ferrari of all time, even better than the F355.

60 millisecond shift times? A DSG GTI can do it in 8. :P

DSG is HEAVY, and I don't think any real Ferrari driver would want a computer to guess what gear they're going to want at every corner, lest those cute 8 ms become almost half a second.
Also, single transmission is a lot more reliable.

Why, why, why play lame music when we could be listening to the engine.

Good Christ.
Why do these videos ALWAYS have music playing? Makes me nuts. With this one, you don't hear the car until halfway through it, and they don't turn off the music AT ALL until the last 5 seconds. ***-holes!

Pretty cool, at least we got to hear the engine a little in this one. I want to outlaw cheesey music in hot-car vids. Punishable by having headphones Krazy-Glued to your ears & having to hear your soundtrack looped until the glue wears off. Anyway, the 360 was pure sex. I wish the 430 looked much more like it.

so...what happens when Ferrari puts THAT technology into the Enzo's successor? If a 510hp car can do the same laptime as a 660hp one without even the F1 car aerodinamics, what will the next top-of-the-range stallion from Maranello be able to do? Consider Ferrari would already be able to make the Enzo weigh only 1000 kg...

@ vice: origonal Ferrari footage had no sound, thats whz theres the music in the forst part. 2nd part was shot by me on the presentation and it has sound. Why Ferrari gave us footage DVD without sound, is beyond me ...
