I was treated to the lovely noise of the CTS-V engine and exhuast system at Long Beach in 2006. Wasn't quite prepared for it. Hanging over the wall at the hairpin when a champ Car goes past/under you is slightly uncomfortable on the ears, but that CTS-V is something else. Although I figure Cadillac doesn't really need it this year, with CTS sales afire and no CTS-V.<br><br>Pethaps GM will put the money (and staff drivers like Pilgrim and Angellelli) toward Pontiac racing this season. It's doubtful this gets them many additional sales, certainly not enough to justify the high cost. It will be interesting to see what the future of the series will be as this season was a bit of a debacle.
