Tuners normally try to find a balance between appearance and performance modifications, but in the case of Mansory, they've relied on the former at the expense of the latter. Starting with the achingly handsome Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a good jumping off point, and when you slap 20-inch black wheels on an eye-grabbing yellow version, you've got our attention. But aside from Mansory-badged six-piston Brembos up front and four pistons in the rear, sport springs and a two-tier exhaust, motivation does quite match the mods.

Instead, Mansory's equipped the Vantage with plenty of carbon fiber bits, from the burgundy engine details, including a radiator shroud and sway bar, to the side mirrors and taillights. Inside, a new steering wheel is fitted, covered in Alcantara and leather, while Mansory stitches its name into the floor mats and emblazons it into the doorsills.

The new diffuser, side skirts, revised front fascia and spoiler, all scream performance, but without some serious engine and suspension tweaking, the Mansory AM Vantage remains a pretty poseur among performance players.

      Mixed reaction.

      Nice:
-rear lip spoiler, it is more subdued, and better blended than the similar Prodrive piece. either one really emphasizes how the third brake light should be in the top of the rear window glass, rather than the trunk-lid, though.
-The mansory side skirts, the intake duct near the rear tires is kind of interesting.
-6-piston brakes. Nice. Regular brembos without the Mansory name would probably be fine with me.
-Carbon details on the inner door.
-Carbon inserts in tail lights. Add a panel on the trunk lid between the taillights, and smoke-tint the new clear tail lights that Aston is offering, and I think it could be a cool effect.

      Not so nice:
-front and rear bumpers. Too much flash, and odd foglight stacks/exhaust stacks. I can see the theme, but that doesn't make it a good one. I wish there were a front bumper cover that spiced up the AMV8 a bit from stock and fitted foglights/driving lights, but this isn't quite it.
-paint color: this deserves something more dignified than yellow that is bright enough to wash out the body lines. I am not a big fan of black wheels, either, but perhaps that is just my taste.
-Twill printed plastic on the dash... it looks like an overlay. Not bad fitment at all, but still an overlay. Maserati's actual woven mesh dash treatment is cooler, for a similar effect.

-BTW, the dashpad looks to be wrapped in alcantara, or similar product. (improved synthetic suede-like material)Not bad, could take it or leave it vs. leather. Although being synthetic, it might survive the sun exposure a bit better over time.

-That is a lot of under-hood carbon fiber. question is, does it just overlay the stock parts (add weight for looks) or replace the stock parts (maybe reduce weight for looks) and who looks under the hood for bling, anyway. I would be too busy driving the hell out of an AMV8.

I like some of this, but I think I like the overall Prodrive package more.

Combine the Mansory rear spoiler and side-skirts, and maybe a touch of silver-CF trim, with the Prodrive suspension, wheels, and front lip spoiler, Brembo 6-piston brakes, and paint it scottish flag blue with titanum white and light silver details (ecurie ecosse privateer racing livery was flag blue and white, like the scottish flag, a little rarer than various versions of british racing greens.), and that would be Front-V8 Sportscar nirvana, IMHO.

I just noticed that the side skirts aren't actually ducted, they are solid/fake. That would have to be cut out for it to be really cool. The visual effect is unique, and I like it, but not if it is visibly faux.

yea, way too much c/f in the bay.
dont love the tiered quad exhaust either.
would look better with just 2 cannons.
      love the car though.

      is that a velour dash?

mansory sucks. It's like dressing Jessica Alba in a strippers outfit.

Disgusting, only for people with no common sense.

Very sexy version of a very sexy car. If you can afford one you can afford to have another firm upgrade the performance... and rip some CF off of the engine.

Why would you change the front end of the car? It's perfect as it is.

      This is a travesty.

That is just an obscene amount of carbon in the engine bay.
