SUVs are pointless unless you really need to haul a lot of people or stuff AND you go off-road or on bad roads. That said, since most people who buy SUVs do neither, I am perfectly fine with something like this Touareg - it's taking something that's silly and just making it more silly. If someone wants to spend the $$$ for that, who cares?

The regular Touareg if used for its purposes it actually very good
it is a great off-roader that has a large towing capacity(especially in diesel form) and is a comfortable car with nice interior
