2) Keep msrp under 20K, and make this thing large enough( maybe Hyundai Accent SE sized, their 3 door hatch,that does look like a updated CRX), I'll definitely consider one... it will be one of 3 vehicles, for sure, on the list of what to buy(unless your predictions of 2010 or later somehow are true, but with diesels, etc, liek VW Jetta and 50+ mpg coming out, they probably aren't goning to wait very much longer to launch something akin to this thing).

I'd like to see a Civic Si motor with hybrid power to bump up the torque. 220bhp with 190-200 lb-ft doesn't sounds achievable and torque steer wouldn't be too overwhelming.

Nope. I thought the same thing.

The whole car looks like another cut-&-paste job from Honda design - an Audi A1 with RX-8 nose, sides of a Pontiac G6 coupe, and the rear just looks like the Civic hatchback circa 1992, but with the tailights moved up a la Focus hatchback.

For a while Honda had some really original design.
