Hyundai sports car concept coming to LA Auto Show, along with 14 world debuts

When the dust settles at the Los Angeles auto show next month, at least 14 world debuts will have taken place, along with 30 North America unveilings. Amidst the premiers, expect to see a concept version of Hyundai's new RWD sports car (also to be shown in London), along with Nissan's restyled Murano CUV.
Those of you that can pry yourselves away from the Turkey table and shrug off your tryptophanic haze will be able to check out the Jaguar XF, BMW 1-series coupe, the new Mitsubishi Evolution X, Subaru WRX STI, Lamborghini Reventon, Porsche GT2 and Ferrari's F430 Scuderia the week after the press festivities end.

Yes, as a matter of fact, it is. Most reports say that its styling will find a basis in the Veloster concept.

basis is one thing. i'm gonna be so disappointed if its a mazda3 looking/ wagon /cuv thing.
the spy pics don't indicate a rear like that.

I sent autoblog this picture yesterday, but apparently this Road & Track rendering wasn't up to their standards.

And if that doesn't work, here's the link:

We're not allowed to post domestic magazine scans, particularly renderings. The new issue of R&T has a very tasty rendering of the '10 Boxster, but it's off limits to publish. We do post occasional Japanese magazine images, but that's only because we get permission first -- our man in Japan helps out.

Oh I didn't know that. My apologies. You all do a great job with the site. Keep it up.

Is that the same concept as my "avatar" drawing? ( I LOVE my '03 Tib GT)
