CAR Online first to drive Ferrari F430 Scuderia
Ferrari's new F430 Scuderia is already being touted as one of the greatest road-going Ferraris of all time, and for good reason. Based on the current F430, the donor car undergoes a raft of changes including a substantial weight loss program and some power mods. The Scuderia also features a new traction control system that combines the E-Diff electronic differential and the F1-Trac traction and stability control in a single integrated system.
CAR Online has now compiled a collection of media materials containing almost everything you'd want to know about the latest Ferrari supercar. You will be able to read an initial drive report (the first as far as we know), check out a couple of videos of the car going around a track and then finish it off with a comprehensive video road test. There's also a chance to win some paraphernalia including a Ferrari Lego racer, a Scuderia press kit and more.
After you've had your fill of the Scuderia, there's also a detailed report on the future entry-level Dino model as well as a F430 successor. After all that you'll definitely be seeing red.

I have always been a fan of the F430 and to see this ultimate version of one is amazing. This would be the #1 spot on my lottery list, in Rosso Corsa please.

Looks like a Saturn? You're buggin'. It's almost the same as the F430.
Nonetheless, that car is sick. I feel sorry for those who bought an Enzo...well, not at all really.

CAR Online has first drive? I thought tons of journo's turned up to the media launch day.
I downloaded the Autocar UK, Chris on Camera vodcast yesterday and it was Chris Harris fanging the F430 Scuderia on the road and around the Fiorano track. Awesome car.

What's with all the blog comments about how a car looks, as if it is THE most important thing?
You see it all the time with performance cars.
I didn't know there were so many little girls who read car blogs, "it looks like a Saturn, it looks like a Mazda, it looks like a _blank_". Umm, maybe you need to go back to the mall and spend more time picking out cute outfits and matching accessories to go with your cute little shoes.
Performance cars are FOR DRIVING. Who really gives a hoot if it looks like some other car when your'e blasting down the autostrada del sol at 9/10ths with a beautiful women next to you and the glorious sounds of an Italian V8 at full cry?
Afterall, you can't see the outside of the car when you're DRIVING it.

Give me a Ferrari F430 Scuderia with the body of a Fiat 500 for all I care. As long as it doesn't fall apart and goes like a seagull with a greased cloacae, I'd be happy.
