There will be no SUVish Jaguar and I think the X-Type wagon shows how bad an idea a Jag wagon is.
I want Jag to make a smallish coupe/convertible/roadster using the Inline six engine that was developed for Land Rover/Volvo. It was designed with FF, AWD and FR drive line lay outs in mind and I think it would be great to go back to Jags inline six heritage. The current NA 3.2 liter makes 235 hp and I am sure you could tweak that to 260 or so without sacrificing reliability. The T6 version makes 281 hp which could probably be tweaked up above 300 hp for a R version.
