It never ceases to amaze us how many autos with interesting histories go up for sale on eBay. Only last month, we saw Sean Connery's BMW 6-series go under the virtual hammer and now we find a Cadillac once owned by Dr. Death himself, Jack Kevorkian, listed in eBay's automotive section.
For those who don't recall, Kevorkian was the controversial American pathologist made famous because of his support for euthanasia for terminally ill patients, and is most noted for his profound statement, "dying is not a crime." Kevorkian even went to jail in 1999 for second-degree murder when he was accused of poisoning a 52-year old Michigan man a year earlier.
Being a native of the motor-state, there is only one make a well-to-do doctor would have on their list, and that's Cadillac. The car is a 1989 white DeVille that's been signed by the man himself and comes with all the original registration details for the would-be buyer. There are plenty of pics posted by the seller including some of Kevorkian actually signing the car.
Thanks for the tip, Niels!

Dang, you would of thought he'd have taken an S.O.S. pad to those whitewalls before the pic.
Dr. Death's own brake dust...

Should be a hearse. Now THAT would be cool.

Just in time for Halloween! I wonder how much someone could make exhibiting that thing at haunted houses in October: "DO YOU *DARE* TOUCH--THE *DEATHMOBILE?!*"

Didn't he have a VW bus also?
I seem to remember that he used one to carry out some of his work.

He had a '68 Volkswagen Van he killed his first patient, Janet Adkins, in, on June 4, 1990. He's since killed a few, but not many, of his 'clients' in the van, but I believe he sold it in 1996.

What an under appreciated car. These things go for beans in mint condition.
The ones that don't go for beans don't sell.
If you see one in the right color and the right options I think you might agree they have a very slick old worldish elegange with a mafia twist.

The 91+ with the 4.9 V8 is much better.

Bidders please note: The kill switch has nothing to do with the ignition.

What am I offered for fellatrix Hungry Helen's '71 Camaro? She had the ability to raise the dead.

FWD Devilles of this era are quite nice. Superbly comfortable, easy to drive, plenty of torque, and reasonably well built. The 4.9-equipped versions would be the best of the bunch.
This one doesn't appear to have a vinyl top -- bonus points!
