Lexus announces Chinese pricing for LF-A already
In early 2008, the Lexus LF-A will go on sale on China. The price: $264,700. That's a lot of yuan, even with the expected markup for the Chinese market. Zeng Lintang, vice president of Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co, said that the car will sell "for more than 2 million yuan." By comparison, in China, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS sells for about 1.9 million yuan, and a Ferrari F430 sells for about 2.6 million yuan. ThePassionatePursuit actually compared the price ratio of a Lexus LS600hL sold in China and the U.S. and guesses the car could cost $129,703 USD when it goes on sale here. Lexus has talked about creating a car that can compete with Ferrari performance-wise. We'll soon see if it can also compete price-wise.

My guess when converted it will cost much less in the US market than in China.

I would pick a Porsche 911 GT3 RS or a Ferrari F430 over this car any day of the week.

Problem is you can't afford either one... :-)
This car will have the perfomance to back it up and you can bet it'll be far, FAR more reliable than either the Porsche or the Ferrari.

Way to make comparisons for a car you know nothing about. Lexus hasn't even released the final design or even final specs of the production LF-A.

Exactly, the LF-A isn’t even in the dealerships yet.

Talking out your ass in response to a hypothetical statement. Nice. What does your little crystal ball say about my finances?

The specs of this car have been out for a while now. Do a search before YOU talk out of your ass.

My little crystal ball says you got a great deal on your used Toyota Camry with 18.9% APR 72 months.

Oh dear... that's a good one! Except that's not a Chrystal ball that you're looking at... It's your wife's forehead...

Webster's Dictionary define Finances 1 plural : money or other liquid resources of a government, business, group, or individual.
You meant Fiance: a man engaged to be married to a Toyota for life.

The crystal ball that I was looking at was a midget; you might know her as your mom.

$130,000 is a lot of dough for a Toyota.

good thing it's not a toyota....

And an Acura isn't a Honda and an Infiniti isn't a Nissan... And Porsche Cayenne isn't a really expensive Toureg... Just like the Cadillac XLR isn't just a Corvette...
I'm glad you know how things work in automotive business.

I would rather have a LF-A than a F430 or GT3. The LF-A is much better looking and you can't say no two that F1 inspired V10.

Yes, because the F430 has no F1 inspired-technologies in it...

im pretty sure this car is going to be awesome
ill hold off judegment about the looks until i actually see the production car but the concepts have certainly left something to be desired.
performane wise, this could be very much in ferrari territory
i hope they put a manual in there.

but you cant really have the lexus reliability with the f430 or the gt3. besides, in china the car prices dont translate evenly. we might see it in the $190,000-230,000 range, which isn't too bad for about 550hp.

but then again you can get 500hp with a gt500 and pay $40,000.
