Gas filler door is on the wrong side of the car. This makes for such a clusterf**k at the gas station. I would NEVER buy a car with the filler door on the wrong side of the car, no matter what.

when you get in almost ANY car look at the gas gauge. Nine times out of ten it will have an arrow on one side of the fuel pump picture that tells you which side the filler door is on. I travel 50% and this helps me avoid rental car clusterbombs weekly.

how is it in the wrong side,
you mean you like the gas door to be on the driver side, that's the worst configuration

how's having it on the driver side the worst... i like it there on mine... i don't have to walk around the car...

It would take some getting used to, but I'd rather have a car with the fuel filler on the passenger side. Why? Have you seen the lines for the pumps for the filler on the driver's side? 2-4 cars deep waiting, while there's usually one or two pumps open for the passenger side. Then you either get the wizards who scuff up their paint pulling the hose over the trunk (or around the SUV D pillar), or the idiots who screw up the flow by backing in or going in the exit to the island.

I wonder why nobody ever invented a tank with 2 openings so lines at a gas station would be nonexistent.

Living in Oregon, where it is illegal to fill your own tank, I don't care what side the gas tank filler is on. Actually, I own an Audi A6 with the filler on the passenger side and I have noticed that the majority of cars have the filler on the driver side. This means that many of the pumps that are orientated correctly for my car are unused and I don't usually have to wait in a long line to have my tank filled by the attendant.
