Honda Accord coupe caught "accessorized"
Looks like somebody has already gotten tired of the as-yet-unreleased '08 Accord Coupe's looks. Spotted over the weekend, here's a pic of the coupe sporting a mild HIN makeover, with a full body kit, sunroof deflector and rear wing too! While it doesn't look atrocious, it seems oh so unnecessary. It is presumed to be a fully optioned model that uses the complete dealer accessory option list, perhaps doing a photo shoot for their catalog. Whatever else it is, it's unique.

Ugh, the side looks like a Pontiac Grand Am. That's absolutely awful.

no, the accord coupe is not alone. Nissan's new altima coupe looks waaaaaaaaaay better than even this better looking version of the accord coupe. Also, the G6 is still a competitor, it may not be the best choice, but it definetely should be mentioned.

Well guys, you are really slow at getting this one. I sent you a tip about these pictures last week. I found them at vtec.net. I also sent you last week some more pics of the same V6 silver coupe that I tipped you about at a car wash but you never posted them. Don't be an ass. The current collector car coverage on Autoblog is much more interesting than this single angle, low-resolution, no-news picture of the hideous new Accord. Autoblog is doing just what they should be - writing about all things related to cars and not just catering to all of the import and domestic fan boys.

Somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed. I thanked you and offered an explanation for why your tip got lost in the chaos of last week. While we know that comments are a huge part of what makes us as successful as we are, we also appreciate clicks, and coverage of events like the ones over the weekend generate tons of them. It's not an either/or situation, it's just that when so much of our team is out covering live events, it's easier to miss a random tip.

Sunroof deflector? Doesn't it have a pop up leading edge deflector?
Ugly wing, how about a lip spoiler that reduces drag and reduces lift.

Can someone explain why Honda and Acura feel the need to use underbody spoilers which are not molded into the bumpers and side skirts at all but instead are just stuck on top of them? God, they look awful when you can see where the aftermarket addition ends and the stock continues.
