Rotoscoped speculation: Hyundai's RWD Tiburon replacement
UPDATE: Images removed at request of original owner.
We've been cooing over the prospect of a RWD Hyundai coupe for sometime now, and although recent spy shots and a possible official rendering have given us a glimpse of what's to come, it still remains unconfirmed speculation. While a nicely done photochop might be a more conventional means of rendering sheet metal, one particularly creative individual decided to portray the new coupe in comic form. The rotoscope-style rendering overlaid atop a set of spy shots is a creative solution that we thought was worth a gallery. So check it below and tell us what you think.

Dont hate... You know this is the only affordable sporty car thats out there. Its the best bang for the buck. The last time I checked Hyundai is kicking Nissan and Honda at service. Personally I wouldnt be caught dead driving a Nissan or Honda.

Thats very close to the new Accord Coupe but with better cohesion of design...

except they don't really look alike and the Honda isnt RWD...so basically they arent alike...except for 2 doors and being foreign.
I'll still take the Honda for the superior engine quality and higher class interior.
nice work...sigh..

Very nice. Hyundai is doing a good job on styling nowadays. Much better than the formless, shapeless appliances cranked out by Toyota and Honda, or the hemmorhoidal abominations known as Subaru.

It looks like someone other than Infiniti is capable of manufacturing/copying the G37...

I'm waiting for either Nissan or Mitsubishi to sue. Looks way too much like a 350z/G37 or Eclipse.

It's a speculation. SPECULATION. And it looks absolutely nothing like an Eclipse. It looks like a Lexus. Also WHO CARES.

What's NOT speculation is how EVERY OTHER HYUNDAI/KIA CAR EVER LOOKS LIKE A RIP-OFF OF ANOTHER COMPANY'S DESIGN.
Pretty sure the old Sonata looks like a JAG, and the Rio/Accent up until recently has looked like a Focus. Certainly not an aesthetic pattern to imitate.
And those are just two examples I can think of at 2am, before bed.
Hyundai/Kia is doing really decently lately, but jism, get some ORIGINAL effing design ideas.

I like the shape. The details at the rear is where it all goes sour. Huge tailights and a tiny truck. To bad really.

That rendering looks like it could be an Altima Coupe, an Accord Coupe, a Lexus, or a Hyundai-- which really emphasizes that the distinguishing characteristics between Asian brands seem to be disappearing quickly.

Looks way better than the Accord Coupe, actually. Hyundai is gonna kick some major league butt in the coming few years.

Nice looking coupe but this is a G37 knock-off w/out the badge and steep price.

Hyundai needs to grow some balls and make a car that actually looks like their concept HCD-8.

Like the looks as depicted very much. Will give it more consideration as the project evolves then wait til it is an actual proven product that is comparable to a "gold standard" production model of brands such as Nissan/Infiniti, Lexus, etc.
Hyundai has been and continues to be impressive with recent models being produced. They appear to be rapidly moving up the ladder of quality and value for U.S. dollars.
Like Toyota, Nissan Honda and other Asian manufactuers, time will tell if Hyundai offers long term values for our $$$.

Looks awesome. All you haters who have nothing to critisize Hyundai about except, "it looks like this" are pathetic. In the future, Hyundai is the one who is going to be giving the consumers what they want. So don't diss because some day they may make your dream car. xD
