The not-sold-here-but-here-anyways phenomenon happens in the DC area all the time. All the diplomats import their cars from their home countries, so every so often you'll see a Renault Espace, a Fiat Punto or something else, temptingly unavailable to the rest of us. As long as I don't see a Renault Megane (which I covet) on the road, I'll be fine, but span a cameraphone shot I shall...
