Agreed - the pentastar makes me think one thing, and one thing only... "P.O.S."

I'm now on my second Rubicon, an 06.
She now has 30,000 miles on her. I live in massachusetts. Ive been to So. Cal twice for a total of 7 monthes and did alot of off road, serious off road.
I've also been to Moab, Utah. More serious off road. Plus I go off road here three or four times a week. She's been cross country twice. The vehicle has had NOT EVEN ONE PROBLEM...NOTHING!! I HAVENT EVEN HAD A LIGHT BULB BURN OUT!
I've had jeeps all my life...two CJ-5's and a CJ-7... never had one brake on me.
She goes pretty much wherever I point her.
Now you tell me, fool...why does that suck??

As a guy in my late 20s only one thing pops into my head when i see the pentastar - and that is the chrysler cars of the, ugh, 1980s. They WERE crap. I am not saying it will make the current crop of cars worse, it just puts an image into my head...
