Can the Nissan version not be hideous this time? I mean, you can scoop up a base Murano for about 25 grand, but the FX is worth a huge premium just because it isn't such an eyesore.

Contrary to popular belief, the Murano is not the Nissan version of the FX. The Murano is based on the same platform as the Altima, while the FX is based on the same platform as the G35. The Nissan is a front wheel drive vehicle, while the Infiniti is a rear-wheel drive vehicle.
