BMW name celebrates 90th birthday
July 21 is a very special day for many of us. It marks the release of the last installment in the Harry Potter series. But it is also a special date for lovers of Bavarian wheels. For, 90 years ago on that forthcoming date, the BMW name first appeared. Way back in 1917, BMW was trademarked and soon after the new name was applied to everything built by the firm. Those three little letters that would come to signify sports sedans to so many, were built on the back of a small engine manufacturer. Back then Karl Rapp was building V12 engines for Austro-Daimler. Soon he was joined by Camillo Castiglioni, Cornelius Jagdmann and Max Friz, and Bayerische Motoren Werke was born. We suggested BMW give away 90 M3s to automotive bloggers in honor of the occasion, but they haven't returned our calls.[Source: MotorAuthority]

You guys have been drinking too much of BMW's Kool-aid.
You could hardly break a sweat driving anything but an M3. Thos 330i might be nice and all but Sport is not an appropriate adjective.
Dirving a Formula 1 is Sport, so is racing in a Rally car or a go-kart. You will actually endure some weight loss. From what I've seen of BMW drivers (or any other "Sport" Audi, Mercedes or Hyundai) they aren't actually working out driving the cars.

What the hell is your point? "Sports-Sedan" isn't an off-the-cuff adjective, it's a commonly used term to identify a class of car. I'm always impressed by the jackasses who surprisingly have the coordination required to watch their mouse-cursor on a screen and use their right hand to move it simultaneously in order to say stupid s**t on the internet.
By the way, i've broken a sweat several times in my 330i. And i'm pretty sure these guys have, too: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/tms_racecars.asp
P.S. - spellcheck.

M3 wasn't made for 2007. What would they give you? Replicas?

That may be true for the company under a different name. As the article states, this refers to the NAME "BMW" being introduced on this date in 1917.
