VIDEO: Mercedes C63 AMG boogies to the techno beat
A hand-built 6.3-liter V8 pumping 451 horsepower in a compact German sports sedan sounds pretty good, doesn't it? You should see it on video, where you get a better idea of the muscle beneath the skin of Mercedes' newest baby, the C63 AMG.
Sadly, yet again, the exhaust note, on which the Affalterbach engineers spent so much time tuning, is all but completely drowned out by the unfortunate soundtrack, and this time it's trashy trance music. It's still well worth watching, though; the video has some great angles, like the steering-wheel cam focused on the paddle shifter. Sweet.

Note to whoever who makes these videos:
AHH, COOL, A REALLY SWEET CAR. Too bad it doesn't do anything exciting. Oh, wait...IT DOES...it has an incredibly magnificent exhaust tone. Funny, though, we can't seem to hear it in this one. STOP PUTTING MUSIC TO THESE VIDEOS, NO ONE CARES WHAT YOUR FAVORITE SONG IS.
There have been a lot of posts recently that seem to reveal that "just because you can doesn't mean you should." (quoted at least twice.)

Oh, ok. Let me sit by my local stop light and hear the unreleased German performance cars go by.
This is an incredible machine, and people want to see how it sounds. It's not like some Toyonda Camcord that people see and hear everyday.

Agreed with Evotec, the driver was not driving that vehicle hard at all, and the ESP obviously prevents any induced oversteer. Probably couldn't hear the exhaust much because he kept the gears high through most of it. Didn't even accelerate out of the turns in most cases.

Haha, understeers. This thing does anything but understeer if you push it.
Sad though, about the music. The C63 has one of the most beautiful exhaust notes ever to grace the earth. Must've been a fan or journalist made video.

I like AMG (alot),but I'm a less is more guy, and excess body cladding strikes me as shabby and excessive.For such a high end M-B model they should offer a more sophisticated looking appearance.I wouldn't buy it because I'd feel like a jerky little tuner boy with all those spoilers,baffles,air dams on air dams etc.

i know u guys want to hear the engine ( me 2) but dont tell me this video would be better with a jazz or hip hop mjuzik or even some rock or pop or whatever....
