You answered your own question. America just got into this cell phone "craze" and you would rarely find an American that would spend more than $200 on a cell phone. Most cellphones that go actually sell in Saudi Arabia are around $600 USD. The cellphone I have right now was 933 usd when I bought it.
I'm not calling Americans cheap or bragging about how rich we are, hell even the middle class in Saudi Arabia buy the newest cellphones, it's just that the Americans don't look at cellphones the same way other countries look at them. 400 usd would probably get you a low end (atleast compared to other cellphones in the market) Nokia. I'm also not saying this piece of crap is worth 4 bills, it's just that some brand whore would probably get it. Can the urban roads in Europe even fit a Hummer?
