Don't forget, June 29 is Drive Your Vette to Work Day
It's hard for us motor freaks to get into those Bike to Work or Walk to Work days. Sure, save the planet and all, but where's the fun? Here's the fun. Drive Your Corvette to Work Day. June 29, gas up that curvy Chevy and get down to the job site in style. Mid America Motorworks started the special day seven years ago, which is appropriate considering their claim as the biggest Corvette parts supplier in the world. If true, it means they are probably responsible for a lot of those older Vettes being able to drive to work in the first place and will stand to gain some new customers when all those Vettes are out there getting attention. Genius!
"We understand why many owners consider their Corvette to be a special car and only drive it occasionally," said Mike Yager, founder of Mid America Motorworks, in a press release. "But we think driving your Corvette to work, at least one day a year, is an excellent way to demonstrate just how popular Corvettes are. And it is a chance for Corvette owners to meet new Corvette owners."
Instead of being driven to work on June 29th, we're wondering how many Corvettes get driven to the Apple Store.

But I have a Corvette because I can walk to work, where am I supposed to park when I get here? Leave it out front where the taxi cabs can run over it? I don't think so. Hmmm.

Evotec: Curosity question, Where in Europe are you, and with what frequency do you see 'Vettes around there?
You see, my brother works at the seaport here that ships cargo to Europe. According to him, they ship quite a few 'Vettes to Europe. More surprisingly mostly to Italy.

A guy I work with has a 2003, but I don't think he wants to park it in the parking lot haha.
