Oh, you saw that post below, eh? Yeah, apparently Chrysler execs were caught telling their own employees that the Sebring and Dodge Nitro are misses. We're a little miffed they couldn't wait until after our Sweepstakes to go all Benedict Arnold on their own products, but whatev. It doesn't change the fact that the 2007 Dodge Nitro R/T we're giving away is worth $29,680 and loaded with a 260-hp 4.0L V6, 20GB MyGIG entertainment system, navigation, a sunroof and 20-inch chromers. I still don't see what everyone hates about the Nitro. It's a gool looking, slightly retro truck. The uplevel engine is powerful enough, the interior is sharp, and the size is handy.
So what's the problem? Plenty of people are in the market for mid-size SUVs and I can see the Nitro appealing to plenty of them.

funny, i cant see what anybody likes about the nitro. its engine isnt strong enough to carry itself, its ugly, the interior is predictably bad, the weak engine also gets fuel economy of an engine twice its size, interior room is awkward

My $0.02
Yes, the Sebring is a total miss. The styling is too busy and just screams I am a low end car. Which is OK if it had very low end pricing.
On the other hand, I think the Nitro is just bad timing. The styling says SUV when the market is thinking cross-over. SUV = bad Old fad, bad for the environment, bad fuel economy, tough ride.
Myself, I would put the Nitro on my list as a possible candidate for towing my toys if I was serious about buying a new vehicle.
Kid in college and wrench in hand says to keep the old vehicles running.
