Let me tell you, even if you think this car is beautiful, the majority will not. It's impossible to say what's beautiful and what's ugly, but it is possible to realize design trends and who is buying what-people will not be buying this.

I am extraordinarily disappointed in the terrible job American car companies are doing in designing their cars from the unreliable engines to the un-luxurious rides to the poorly handling chassis. I am a proud American but I am not the kind of person who follows everything America does. No, I am the kind of person who wants to push America FURTHER and expand our country's economy. clearly this car is going to be faster than the competition. what remains to be seen is the quality. is the new CTS truly a world class sports sedan? does it have the interior, ride, handeling, techno goodies that have become expected in this class?

either way the HP war has just officially entered the rediculous and is now bordering on completly retarded. i love it. 600 hp caddies, 700 hp vettes and mustangs, what will ze germans come back with? TT v8 m3? the japs are just now getting into the game, by the time the nsx replacement and the toyota supercars are released 500 hp will be quaint.

this is spiraling way out of control and i love it.

I know it's fun to compare numbers, but when you're actually IN the market for buying a luxury car, you don't really give a crap if it has 400, 500 or 600 horsepower... You want it to be comfortable, quiet and high quality.

People who buy luxury cars tend to be in the older crowd. They tend to be people who do not need to have a fast car to prove to others that they're superior (half the time they don't even care about proving such things.) They do not feel the need to race or push their vehicle's engines to the extremes. They need a comfortable, quality, beautiful car with an appropriate amount of pickup.
