eBay Find of the Day: Miata-based BMW Z9

Click the image above if you really want to see more.
The owner makes it clear that the car is still street legal, with its stock emissions systems left intact. So that side exit exhaust is merely for show, as is the plastic BMW engine cover.
Were you to part with your hard-earned cash for such a misshapen homage to Bavaria, you might be willing to spend some coin on a nice coat of silver metallic or midnight blue paint, and then take to the interior with a hacksaw and some vision.
Good luck, you'll need it.

This car is made of failure. Peeing on it would double its value. My dead grandpa could build something better than that.

Stock 1.6 engine with 154xxx miles, stock brakes, stock exhaust...Intake filter (good for at least 5 hp!!), and BMW valve cover (not even bolted on!!) (good for another 5 fhp (fantasy horsepower)) so ballpark about 95 rwhp for this ugly beast. "BMW looks" with Geo acceleration, a special combination indeed!

The bidding is currently at $1,804.00...
I'd say that's about $1,803.99 more than that car is worth.

I don't think 'clone' is the appropriate term to use here.
It also looks like it will come apart at speeds about 25mph.
