The trick to having the best chance to win a sweepstakes like this is to enter every day. Today's Saturday, which means there are a lot of people who are going to miss their chance to enter because they have to mow the lawn, go out to eat with the family, or do whatever it is people do on Saturday. The point is, here is your chance to get a leg up by entering the (wait for it) Autoblog Relaunch Celebration Sweepstakes featuring the All-New 2007 Dodge Nitro for the fourth day in the row. Click here to enter!
If it's your first day entering, don't forget to return tomorrow and the next day to enter each day until the Sweepstakes concludes in the early morning of Friday, June 15th.
Much thanks to all the friends of Autoblog below, as well as sites we've never met before, who've alerted their readers to what we're up to. If you're site mentions the Nitro Sweepstakes, let us know by emailing a link to abresearch at gmail dot com, and we'll add you to the list below. Good luck!

Entered again.
I have a question though.
WIll the Nitro look like the one pictured?
I don't care about the color, I just hope its not a base model with the unpainted black bumpers

Yeah, the prize is a LOADED Dodge Nitro R/T with the 20-inch chrome wheels, giant sunroof, MyGig harddrive stereo and range-topping 4.0L V6. This is NOT a base model, it's worth nearly $30,000.

When all is said and done, it's still a Dodge Nitro. I enter more than my fair share of online sweepstakes, especially ones that offer a vehicle as a grand prize, but the Nitro doesn't motivate me to enter this one, even though I realize I can just sell it should I win it. Yeah, I know, my loss. *YAWN*

Whoops. didn't see the R/T part, my bad.

Epoch, I'm totally not a web designer and have no idea what browser sniffing is. Are you talking about Autoblog.com itself or the microsite for entering the contest? The microsite was designed and is hosted by a third-party company we hired. The browser thing is their restriction, not ours, and I really can't doing anything about it at this point. It's a lesson learned though for the next time we do a sweepstakes this big.
Thanks!

WTF? I could've sworn I clicked on the 'reply' link of this comment by John Neff: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/05/26/day-4-enter-the-autoblog-relaunch-celebration-sweepstakes-featu/comments/5112834/

All these shout-outs from other sites are undoubtedly bringing in many more entries, thereby reducing my chances of winning the car. So hush, already, willya? Jeez.

Here's a reason not to enter: If you win, you'll owe taxes on your prize, which to the IRS counts as 1099-style income. The IRS will also think the prize is worth the "approximate retail value" of $29,680.00.

For two days I was not able to get past the grey rectangle. Today I got through.
Thanks for creating this opportunity for us. It's like the lottery, even if you don't win you can daydream about "what if". And no tickets to buy!
Now if only you can convince Chrysler to do this again with an SRT Charger....that would really tow my jet ski!

CY - you'll also owe state and local taxes, if any, on it, too. That's why you should always go into these things with eyes wide open.
I'm not under any illusions that I am going to win the thing. I have never won a lottery or contest based purely on chance in my life, and I am not a gambler by nature. It doesn't cost a nickel to enter, and if I do win, I'll figure something out.

Doing any browser sniffing in this day and age is just lazy. If someone is really not using Firefox or IE6+, then that's their fault that your page looks bad. Don't let your restrictive sniffing block out people with perfectly fine useragents.
