Spy Shots: Porsche 911 Turbo cabrio undisguised
With its official introduction just a week away, Britain's Car magazine has snagged photos of the new Porsche 911 Turbo cabriolet sans any disguise whatsoever. The monster ragtop will have all the goodness of its closed-roof sibling, while adding the ability to work on one's tan at (high) speed. Expect performance statistics that are nearly on par with the regular 997 turbo, and a price that eclipses it. We've been looking forward to this one, and it's not too far off now. The 911 was my absolute favorite car as a little girl... I had posters on my wall and I dreamed about it every night.

Booooring....
Why does Porsche design a new 911 every year (it seems that way) yet they still look like the ones made 10 years ago?

The 911 is about evolution not revolution. the car hasent changed much aesthetically at all. look at a 76-1980 911. When its so damn near perfect, why mess with it. you cant do much more with a rear engined platform, hence the cayman.

Yawn. Yet another butt ugly 911 variant. Porsche has its head in the wrong place. It should be coming out with more Cayman, not Carrera, variants. The Cayman is the best car Porsche has built in decades. It deserves more development, not to mention a bigger engine that the 911.

The famous, distinctive and durable car has undergone continuous development since its introduction in 1964 and I don't see that stopping anytime soon...check out http://www.snoos.com/index.php?option=com_seyret&task=videodirectlink&id=308
