What's better than pictures of a coachbuilt Italian exotic? Why, more pictures of a coachbuilt Italian exotic, of course! And in that vein, the sheet-metal masters at Zagato have graced us with a slew of additional images of their latest creation, based on the Maserati GranSport.
These images come direct to you from the grounds of the Villa d'Este, the glitzy annual concours d'elegance where Zagato has unveiled previous specials like the Ferrari 575 GTZ – so don't be surprised if the picturesque scenery is a familiar backdrop.
Thanks for the tip, Mancini!

I've gotta see one of these live.
My first impression from the few first photos I was was that it looked, maybe. Chinese. Odd. Not quite right.
Now, with more photos, I think it's very interesting and beautifully executed.
Live, I bet it's knock down, drag out beautiful.

a nice concept but odd execution. the c pillar, the front end...
tone down the oddity and it could be "re-tooled" into a beautiful car.
Zagato cars are usually more graceful than this, but the recent Aston Zagatos, and this one, are a bit odd. They Spyker Zagato seems to be quite nice, though, better than the regular Spyker.

A nose only its designer could love. Look at the side body line that travels through the fender into the headlight cover. The headlight cover does not keep the line. Sloppy.

I agree with the "great concept, poor execution" comments. It looks a bit strange from most angles.
But I do love the scenery and the wheels...

#5 it looks to me like the line does go thru the headlight cover (fairing). You guys are really tough. I'd love to have a car that looks like this.
