I don't think a product which is unannounced and which merely exists in the world of rumor and speculation can really be vaporware.

That said, I don't see why anyone would buy a Murcielago over a Gallardo. It's just bigger and heaver, Superlegga or not. Considering the R-GT Le Mans racer is RWD, the development is pretty much done already with regards to how the Murcielago would take to a RWD system. Not to mention of course, we're talking about a Lamborghini super car, not exactly a car that's built to a cost. As for your comment regarding supercars that have met their death, need I remind you that LP640s were crashing and burning (literally) before they were even available to the public?
