Autoblog week in photos: Week of April 2nd, 2007
With the dust still settling from our trip to the New York Auto Show, we decided it would be best to focus only on cars from the Big Apple this week. There were plenty of great photos, from exotics and vintage hot rods, to new products like the Subaru WRX and Ford Flex. You can check out videos from the New York show here, and all the latest news and information can be found here. We've also added links below to some of the more exciting galleries from New York.
This week, music come from The Michael E. Thomas Band with "Going to New York". Enjoy!

OK, I guess the blues song is fine for some (third rate to me), and the montage of cars without titles is cool looking for some........
Something like a string of captioned photos of the outstanding cars might have been better for me.
,,, And I dont mean a link to Galleries, having, say 25 photos of the grey interior of the Ford Flex. (I counted 'em.)
Something in between would be nice -- TOO MUCH emphasis on looking arty and cool.

Honestly, all I can say is "That's it?"
I am really disappointed in the cars shown this year. I expected a massive leap forward but I guess that's not going to happen for another couple of more years, huh?

I agree with #2; I expected at least a concept version of Chevy's Zeta Impala to be pulled out, or other signs that GM is moving to rear-wheel drive with its bigger sedans - Cadillac, Pontiac, and and Buick will have them. I guess GM feels its too soon to show anything on this front. Plus, considering they're claiming production of a Chevy Volt-like car by 2010, they'd better come out with a model that evolves beyond dream-car and closer to production. We shouldn't let 'em off so easy.
