The front reminds me of a late 80's f-150 or Bronco. But it's wagon all the way baby! Heck yeah! Something different in a competeing segment that will take attention away from the minivanners.

I think they have a winner here...big time. This type of vehicle is not my cup of tea, but it's glaringly obvious to me why people would be drawn to it...away from your everyday minivan/peoplemovers.

Also, let's get over the name change. This CUV won't need a familiar name to sell and make a splash. Good job Ford.

Nick

Comments on

Hideous! Ford needs to stop trying to tame down the design of this vehicle. That's what the Freesty...er...Taurus-Ex is for.

And I still can't get over the name. Flex is a completely forgettable badge that won't last into the next decade. I don't care if it describes the flexibility of the vehicle. It says that power can moved 100% to the rear axle. I think Fusion and Edge can only engage up to 50/50, but they can be traced back to the Mazda6, whereas this can be traced back to Volvo.

Anyone know if this AWD system is indeed different?

Elliott
