It's been known for a couple of years that BMW is working on another lower-roof, more coupe-like crossover derived from the X5 platform. BMW will be unveiling something on Wednesday at the New York Auto show, but it hasn't publicly said what that vehicle will be. Some sketches have popped up elsewhere on the interweb that are purported to be an X6 concept previewing the production version expected in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The concept is expected to be powered by the new twin turbo inline-six cylinder from the 335i.
