The old ones, which were only round on top, never looked quite right.<br><br>The big news, unless they've substantially upgraded the interior, appears to be that the 4.7 is finally producing decent power. Unclear is whether it remains an SOHC design, or is now OHV like the Hemi. I'm guessing SOHC, because they don't make any change explicit other than saying that the cam is new.<br><br>The Commander needs this engine even more than the Grand Cherokee. When I test drove it with the 4.7, the salesman said the six was under the hood. This looks like the current WK with a few minor tweaks. NO other SUV in its class even comes close to offering what the GC does. And of course the SRT edition whips everyone's arse!
