Chery to unveil Shooting Sport Concept at Shanghai Auto Show

Chery is set to have 30 cars on hand at the 2007 Shanghai Auto Show, including three concepts. Our sister site, Autoblog Chinese, has sketches of one of the most anticipated: the Shooting Sport. From the looks of it, the automaker is readying a stylish three-door compact wagon, much in the same vein as the Renault Clio Grand Tour Concept that made its debut earlier in the year at Geneva. Expect heavy dose of European style with a modern interior when the car officially breaks cover. Autoblog Chinese will have full coverage, of course.

This doesn't look so bad - not crazy about the wheels but it appears like a pretty sophisticated design for Chery.
Hopefully, it looks as accomplished in the metal.

Would you buy a car called Chery??? Personally, I don't care how beautiful the car is, I would never be caught dead in a car call Chery.

Not sure why even bother doing concepts, which mostly rock and yet their production relatives look NOTHING like it and usually lose all the good points. This concept looks nice, the production model? Most likely hideous and dorky.
