Fiat previews 500 a day early

Fiat is due to unveil the highly-anticipated 500 revival tomorrow, but they've given registered "community members" a chance to preview the itty-bitty new car at Fiat500.com
The site features a quick flash animation video that shows the new car from various angles, both inside and out. You only get to see the video once, but some intrepid fellow bloggers have managed to grab some screen shots which we're glad to share with you above and after the jump.
The car will be officially unveiled to the public tomorrow, but if you can't wait and want to see Fiat's flashy flash show, you can go straight to Fiat500.com and register to see the video.

I can't belive its a 4 seater, the outside is kinda dull but the interior looks great.

It's cute! And I'm glad it doesn't have its instruments in the center like the Mini.

Hi Ben,
On my visit to Italy the older Fiat's where very small so I thought this would be the same size. I would totally buy one if they brought these to the US.

raffaele,
Thanks for the video, I can't belive we don't get cars like this in the US. This car puts a new standard on cute, The Mini Cooper lloks like a giant nest to this car.

That is one nice little car. Great job by Fiat. The interior is sassy and eye catching, and the exterior is more subdued with a classy feel. Just my opinion though.

by the way, it's not in the same class of mini. It's smaller and lighter and (probably) cheaper. rumors says that it will starts from 10,000 Euro with 1.2 65bhp. Also avaible at the launch 1.4 about 95hp and 1.3 diesel about 75bhp. Probably will follows in the next months 1.3 diesel about 100bhp and 1.4 Turbo about 120-150bhp (Abarth Version). And on a long term an all new 900cc 2cylinders turbo from 60 to 110bhp

Too bad we here in America will not get this petite runabout, I do think I would buy one.

Completely fetching styling. Too bad we'd never, ever get it. Much rather have it over the MINI (which I had.. and it was a total joke. 11 times in the shop in 13 months) and I'd rather have it over the SMART too.

HotRodz there's a reason Fiat's aren't sold in the US anymore. It's the same as why pugeots and renaults are no longer sold here. They're absolute JUNK!!! They make an 85 hyundai pony look like a civic when it comes to quality.

Too bad, like the New Beetle, the engine and drive wheels are in the wrong position.

#12 The funny thing, is that almost none american cars are sold in europe, other wise you import bimmers, mercs, audis, vw, ferraris, porchas etc,and the japanese also, because your's arent good enough for you. That's why GM and Ford are in the situation that we all know. You are good in airplanes, tanks, battleships, spaceshutle, etc, but cars......

I like it. Very interesting interior and color choices. I wonder what they'd sell for if you could import them to Canada? 16K?

I wonder if it could be imported to the US as a "Low Speed Vehicle." Where I live, a dense urban center, this would be perfect!

Is it just me, or is the C-Pillar on the second pic much larger than the one of the third. Hmmm, maybe its just the angle.
Either way, this has the markings of a massive success on it for Fiat, so long as they don't over price it. To me it is faithful to both the original and the concept and it makes the Smart seem clinical, the Mini common and the Twingo bland.
If it can prove to be as popular as the Panda has done in customer satisfaction surveys recently then Fiat are onto a winner.

I think the frontal styling bears more than a passing resemblance to the first generation Dodge Neon.

#12 I can't respect someone who talks and doesn't know what he's talking about. It's ridiculous...
But maybe you can explain why you buy so many European cars, while in Europe you don't sell American cars at all.
Besides: have you driven a Peugeot or a FIAT? Or are you talking of the stupid clichés from 30 years ago?
Don't bother to answer.
