Spy Shots: Mitsubishi EVO X
Hot on the heels of Mr. Baines' video of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X hitting the streets, one of the photogs under the employ of our favorite snapper, Brenda Priddy, was able to catch the new EVO during a rare stationary moment.As expected, there is little to distinguish this prototype from the concepts we've seen in the past. The gaping maw is flanked by large side intakes, sporting fog lamps, while the rear wing sprouts up from the camo-clad trunk lid. It's hard to discern through the covering whether or not the blistered fenders are as chunky as the IX's are, but judging by the concept, they'll be less angular and more integrated.
With a new 2.0L turbo, a thoroughly reworked all-wheel-drive setup and more electronic gadgetry than the Hubble, we're salivating at the hoonage potential of the next iteration of the EVO. And yes, it will be relevant, thank you very much.

the seats look just like the ones in the concept x. this thing is gonna be so badass. hopefully the price doesnt enter the stratosphere.

my question is will they have an Evo and a lesser car similar to what Subie does with the STi ans WRX?

I saw this car about a year ago and I can't stop thinking about it. OMG, I am ready to get this car as soon as it comes out, but I am praying the price doesn't kill me. If they can some how, make it around 30K, I think it would be great. If 35K, it could turn off a lot of people.

nice car. looks like it can take on anything. hope it carries on the legacy of the past evos. Wheels are very good but im not so sure about that front bumper. i hope the evo x front is not going to look like an oversized audi front. but maybe i'll overlook that if the performance and suspension is above excellent.

To #3, not only are they doing a WRX competitor in the RalliArt Lancer (a detuned AWD turbo model), but there are plans for a "Sportback" as well (look around for the concept).

Oh my god, just look at this. Compared to that kitty car that subaru calls impezra wrx, this is a total infusion of excitement. I don't know what to say, this car absolutely rocks. BMW 3 series and mercedes c class can never look so sporty and a total mean machine. If i had the money then this would have been the car that i would buy. Just look at those headlamps, the side panel, front air intakes, and look at those wheels. A total masterpiece.
