Geneva Motor Show: Live shots of the Lotus Exige GT3

Is it possible to make the Exige any more purposeful? Lotus Sport answered that question with a resounding "Yes!" when they debuted the Lotus Exige GT3 concept last week in Geneva. Although only billed as a concept, the GT3 may see production in limited numbers for a select group of track day aficionados.
As a refresher from our original post, the GT3 had the output of its supercharged 1.8-liter boosted up to 271 HP and comes equipped with a wider rear track to fit uprated wheels, a large spoiler, a smoothed out front clip and new brakes and pads at all four corners.
Check the original post here and take a gander at the live gallery, shot by our own Mr. Joseph.

Wow, I need to sell my Elise, and this is just the car I would get. 271 hp? That's unreal for a car like this. I know my 190hp still feels fast, though not the torque I would like.

These are starting to get a little boring. Where's the Esprit?

This front design (without the small lights) looks great: they should expand it to the rest of the Elise range!

In regards to post 6... I don't really think this will qualify as a street legal Lotus but it's still probably one of the quicker ones in their history.
I agree that the turn signal-less front end look good, it actually took me a second (how sad) to figure out the difference but I have to admit that I do like it. The protruding nose is a bit awkward but I bet it will grow on me quickly. I'm sure the power increase will be welcomed with open arms from the track folks, that really does seem to be the car's only true downfall.
