This article made me think of something w/ regard to getting some of these vehicles to the US. Obviously, motorcycles do not meet most of the safety/emission regulations that are required of cars. Motorcycles also come in 3 wheeled varieties (trikes) and I've even seen BMW motorcycles set up w/ 4 wheels.
What are the requirements to have something registered as a motorcycle (displacement?) and why couldn't some of these vehicles come over as "motorcycles" to avoid some of the safety and emission regulations?
