Enter the rumormill: Alpina B3 Biturbo coming to Geneva?

While crawling around the interwebs we came across a few pics and some specs about Alpina's next big thing: the B3 Biturbo. Information is sparse, but from what we gathered from our sources, the B3 Biturbo makes good use of BMW's twin-turbo'd 3.0L inline six, cranking output to 365 HP and 368 lb.-ft. of torque. The four exhaust tips would indicate that spent fuel will be traveling through a revised exhaust system and judging by the gains made by other tuning companies, we'd expect a thorough reworking of the ECU's fuel and boost parameters.
Some rumors suggest that the B3 Biturbo is headed for Geneva. We'll be there, so time will tell.
One more pic after the jump.

The Alpina website confirms that it'll be at Geneva:

365/365 isn't a big jump considering the car makes around320-330 hp and 330 tq from the factory. Shiv's Procede does this already - http://www.vishnutuning.com/bmw_335i.htm.
And it's a buttload cheaper than going through alpina

Yeah, Vishnu's making 390/lb-ft torque and near 400 h.p. at the crank. Read about this on EDMUNDS seems like a hell of a set-up!

#2 and #3: You have never driven an Alpina? There is more than sheer numbers. Lighter pistons make them spin revv faster etc.
I really liked the old B3 (based on the E36 328i). With around 275hp it was able to go 165mph. Regarding a car that was built 10 years ago, the old B3 still keeps pace on our autobahns.

M, I can tell you i never will. Not for what they charge v. what they deliver. The 335i adds more power to the e90 but does nothing to address the bulk of the car or it's removed/quiet feel. If Alpina yanked 400 lbs out of the e90 and shrank it by 12 inches, I'd be more interested.
FWIW, I have an 06 e90 330i, ZSP 6 speed manual. It's a boring POS. Took it on the autobahn/toll roads/austrada and the car was quiet and serene all day long going from Munich to Nice. Sure it'll go fast and sticks like glue, too bad the car's a soulless, massive hunk.

you guys have to remember the difference between a factory car and a modded car like shiv offers.
factory car keeps a nice big safety margin.
modded car pushes the stock safety margin to the limits to squeeze power.
so it's not apples to apples -- you'll really find that out when you show up to a dealer with a blown tranny.

Aaron, if you're blowing a tranny on a regular 335i (I assume you mean manual - because you couldn't possible mean a slushy 335i), the dealer is going to tell you to f^ck off too.
