E85 for 85 cents a gallon? Ford, MFA Oil promotion educates consumers about ethanol
Customers at selected gas stations across Missouri could have pumped E85 for just 85 cents a gallon yesterday. The Valentine's Day treat was courtesy of Ford and MFA Oil. Ford will double the number of flex-fuel vehicles it produces by 2010, and is participating numerous education projects to inform consumers about ethanol's benefits. Ford, MFA and Vera Sun Energy were instrumental in developing the Midwest Ethanol Corridor to increase E85 pumps from Kansas City to Chicago.
