VIDEO: BMW "See How It Feels" campaign launches

BMW's new 60 second TV spot is something of an automotive Fantasia. Remember the segment of that animated masterpiece where a symphony plays and the emotion behind the sounds are displayed in Technicolor glory? Well, think music, emotions, and motoring here. Bringing the exhiliration one feels when piloting a Beemer to visible life, sights of different BMW models explode into lights and swirls all accompanied by a fresh arrangement of Beethoven's 9th Symphony by UNKLE. This new campaign was created by Nick Thornton-Jones and Warren Du Preez of Wanted Films. Follow the jump to watch the whole commercial.
Thanks, Martijn!

That was stunning! German car ads are the most theatrical and inspirational.

wow. If you tune down the effects (which were cool), and throw in rock music it could be a pontiac commercial.

I think BMW just hired the ad agency that Cadillac fired.
"Ultimate Driving Machine" That's a slogan I remember.
"See How it Feels"? That's lame.

maybe this is how you will feel to drive a BMW when stoned.

i think this is a sad attempt from BMW to get people to like their cold, soulless cars.

BMWs are cold and soulless? Wow. My problem with BMW is that it's just freaking massive. If not for the outrageous size of the 3 series, I'd consider getting another bimmer in 08. But alas, my 06 is probably my last BMW until they release a smaller, nimble car.

Hard to beat the "inspired by" Beethoven background music. I give the ad a 9 for visually and audibly interesting... I give the cars a 7 - largely thanks to not liking the "flame siding" or "Bangle butt" of BMW.

The BMW Films from 2001 really showed the cars' potential

Uh, 68.4 mph slalom is very nimble, even if the car is a little bigger. Just sucks that very little of the extra size made it into actual legroom, but rather into internal volume.

The 1 coupe reminds me of my old E30. Can't wait until they arrive.

I like just the way my E46 feels and looks. Until they can match both, then I will be interested in buying another BMW.
BMW cars cold and soulless? Tell that to the BMW CCA.
