Beater of the Week: Poll results
Throughout the weekend, one vehicle held a commanding lead over the other beaters featured last week. As the polling drew to a close, that margin lessened, but still, Big Momma brought home the bacon. She wasn't without some serious competition, provide by the absolutely hideous Prelude, which came in second, followed by the battered Jeep Comanche, with a scant nine votes separating it from the X1/9.
At the end of the day though, you decided that Big Momma, in all her morbidly obese glory, was the ultimate beater. We can hardly argue with that. We're back to the randomness this week, but the themes will continue. So throw in your hat, and your car, by following the directions after the jump.
How to submit to RR of the Day:
Create a Flickr account if you don't already have one. Search for and join the group called 'Autoblog RR of the Day'. Upload up to three photos of your ride to your own account at a size no larger than 450 pixels wide if possible and include as much information about it and yourself as possible. Even if your ride is sweet, it will not be chosen if there's not a lot of info accompanying it. Click on each photo and just above the picture it will say "Send to group". Click that and select the Autoblog group. You're done, that's it!

Thanks to everybody who voted for me. It's good to be recognized for, uh, having an ugly car?
Big Momma is a hard working machine, and she appreciates the recognition. But she's still angry. If you see a big, ugly, white monster closing fast on your bumper this Summer, get the hell out of the way. She's not afraid to hit you and call you names...
To the other contestants: Don't feel bad, your cars are still ugly beaters too. ;-)

Just when I thought all hope was lost for autoblog commentators, The perfect beater pulls out a win. I was seriously considering a boycott of the site if that prelude won. Kidding, Sorta.

While all five are beaters, I thought the 'big momma' was the least"beater" of them all - I hope next time the actual WORST beater (i.e the least functional, most broken car) wins.
