For those of you that aren't particularly interested in the entertainment du jour, we'd suggest that you do two things:
  1. Find your favorite backroad and go for a drive. In all likelihood, there will be less traffic and fewer motorcyclists than your average Sunday.
  2. Watch the documentary on the Lotus Elise posted after the jump. It's a bit long (2 hrs., 20 min.) and a little kitschy, but it's probably more entertaining than reading a Wikipedia article.
Have fun and be safe.

What's up with the dig at motorcyclists?

Looks like a cool video, I'm gonna have to watch it during lunch tomorrow though, a bit too long for tonight. My 27th birthday was last Saturday and one of my presents was a nice big book detailing the Elise story, from conception to the S2 111R that is now in my garage. If the video is anything like the book then it's well worth the time to watch it.

Look for somewhat similar content on my Lotus Elise blog in about 11 days when I post my experiences with owning an Elise for a year. February 16th will mark my one year anniversary with the Elise and I'll be rambling on about all the little trips I've taken it on and how we've treated each other. If you are a fan of the Elise and/or are curious about an owners thoughts then you should definitely check it out.

Also feel free to check out the Elise wallpapers I posted up a while ago.

      /shameless plug ;)
