Super Bowl XXXVIII - Ford GT "The One"

Before Bold Moves, Ford did cool stuff like this. Opening with a sweet burnout and filled with a minute's worth of eye and ear candy, we followed this red Ford GT around the track with big grins on our faces (which we simultaneously stuffed with chips & salsa and whatever the hell else we had on hand). "The One," as it's called, aired during the Bowl XXXVIII pregame show, and it's as good now as it was then. Follow the jump to watch it.

Just beautifully shot. Maybe Honda should have hired this cinematographer for their commercial with all the cars doing the slalom around the gas pumps.

This looks like the Canadian Ford GT commercial but our narrator sounds like Kiefer Sutherland, which sounds better suited than this voice.

Yea- Ford had "some" then... That commercial made me proud to be an American! I think I even saluted at one point.
The New Bold Moves crap- I noticed the lawyers included "CARS CANNOT DRIVE ON BUILDINGS" with the Edge commercial. Gimme a break.
The last one that was cool was the dad letting his son burn some tires in the empty lot with the Mustang.

Anyone else find it humorous that they picked the car they've recalled three times now as the "pace car of an entire company"?
Yes, it fits Ford perfectly... nicely done Ford.

This is an interesting ad for a few reasons... One Laguna Seca is green??? WTF??? it was driven by I think Brock Yates, who was unable to get the car out of 4th gear on the course as Laguna Seca is a short course.
