We get tipped off to a lot of spy shots, some taken by professionals and others snapped with the nearest Treo handy. We've never received spy shots like these, but hey, they get the job done. These spy shots, which have been converted to a negative of their original files, were posted on the ScionSmoke.com forum last night. We inverted them to have a black background and white outlines for easier viewing. Whether or not these pics truly do show details of the next xB isn't certain. That can only be verified by 328 Scion owners who were flown to Miami Beach in December for the private unveiling of the next-gen xB and all-new xD. If any readers were part of that select group, please verify what we're looking at here in the comments. Either way, we'll be introduced to the 2008 xB and its new partner at the Chicago Auto Show in early February.

I bought my 2008 scion xb last night. Traded my 05 xb. I absolutely love it! It's design is more sleek and stylish. The interior is awesome with a sense of luxury. The seat fabric is way better than the 1st generation. The dash is way nicer...more light in the dash with cool features. It even has an Ipod Aux and Ipod cable...you can control your ipod by using your ipod or from the stereo controls! You can drive in Automatic transmission mode or manual, depending on your mood....It's awesome! I also feel a lot safer in the new 2008....side/curtain airbags, the car itself feels a little heavier, the body is a lot thicker. It doesn't give you that "tin-can" feel.
Don't get me wrong...I loved my 2005 xb, but the 2008 is a lot better all the way around..NO DOUBT!

It looks pretty good. I'm seeing some key similarities with Honda's Element. My friend has an xB and he loves it. They're loaded with all type of fun features and they're cheap! It has been very reliable and so far no Toyota recalls.

The new one looks like a piece, the current one is a piece. I am waiting for Nissan to bring its CUBE over.

Interesting to notice... this design is quite different from the 2nd generation Toyota bB sold today in Japan. I thought the new model would by a copy from it, just like the 1st gen xB is a xerox copy from the original bB.

I was at the Miami show, and that looks like it. Some things to note about the car: console inside is totally redesigned, third window in the back is gone and the c pillar is extended all the way to the rear of the car.
That effect is actually really good for seeing the body lines.

I was at the Miami event as well... those "spy shots" are the real deal. Granted the version we saw at the event had 18" rims & a bodykit by Kenstyle, but he pics you have are what the NG xB will look like in April.

Who called this the other night on ScionLife... ME.

That's it. For sure... and I don't/didn't like it.

I'll stick with my first gen xB which I will love til the day I die.
