Those who drove in the Paris-to-Beijing E-Class marathon want to buy their rides. The diesel-powered cars covered 14,000 kilometers before reaching their Chinese destination. Three of the cars had the Bluetec option designed for the U.S. market. Now the cars have to be returned to Europe -- via truck and boat -- and get a tech checkup before going to their new owners. Many of the participants took out purchase options on their vehicle during the race so they can keep the unique graphics and markings. These vehicles also retain the special suspension. One of the vehicles was also auctioned off on eBay to a lucky winner who lives near Munich.
