After the debut of the Aston Martin DBS in the most recent Bond flick, "Casino Royale," it looks like 007 No. 22 will feature the incredible "concept" Jaguar C-XF unveiled this week in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show.

Ford still has a $100 million dollar, three-movie deal for exclusive product placement that began with "Die Another Day" in 2002. Wouldn't this be a great way to kick off the sales of such a beautiful new automobile? With Aston Martin still on the auction block, the new Jag looks like a logical next step to us.

Sigh!!! A Jag? Where's the wood? Leather? The leaping cat on the hood? I hope the designers re-discover the notion of 'luxury' before this gets out. Less 'George Jetson more Sean Connery, s'il vous plait!

I wouldn't kick it out of bed. Frankly, though, the best-looking car in Casino Royale is the Ford Mondeo.

Looks like a Scion with about fifteen hundred bucks of cheesy fiberglass work.

The only thing "Jaguar" about it are the headlamps and the badge. The rest is just leftovers from Aston or Volvo. I like the door handles, but they're from the Alfa 156. I hope the real XF is better looking, the look is nice on the coupe, but you need something more masculine on a sedan. They could always just make it a "4 door coupe" like the Merc CLS.

They could put whatever car they wanted in that movie. At the end of the day, it is still a Bond movie. It is the only movie franchise out there that has all the components needed for a good movie and still manages to come up short. It is a very unoriginal and looks like everything else out there.

It looks like a cross between a Ford Probe rear end and a Volvo front end.

Lets all welcome Jaguar to the Jelly-Bean Club.

Is this thing the final bastardized version of what was code named the RD-6? As seen here:

I hope not. If so, what the hell happened?

I couldn't wait to see this car as concept car 22. I picked my last dream car from 'Golden Eye.' I fell in love with the BMW Z3 on sight and had to have one. I still have it but it is over 10 years old and I'm looking for my next dream car. The concept Jag is not it--don't find it appealing at all.

I may be dating myself, but the old Jaguar XKE roadster was much sexier in my eyes!
